This event was more than just a seminar; it was a practical launchpad designed to empower individuals with 21st-century digital opportunities through the newly launched Social Mining V2.

The Social Mining 101 Event successfully drew over 50 participants, both physically and via live online streams, including notable community members like Akindele Calvin, DAO Labs Nigeria Community Admin, and Oluwa_samlex, who dialed in virtually to support the mission.

The core objective was to demystify Web3. In an industry often criticized for "complex processes and broken promises", the local team focused on:

• Simplifying Social Mining: Breaking down how users can monetize their individual skills and social media influence.
• Practical Demonstrations: Live sessions showing how Social Mining serves as a "DAO governance solution" that rewards quality content and community coordination.
• Skill Positioning: Teaching participants how to build a digital reputation (REP) that leads to sustainable, long-term income rather than fleeting "yap-to-earn" hype.

With the expert guidance of Engr Samest, who was on the ground to handle logistics and teaching, breaking down complex Web3 fundamentals into simple concepts was critical for the attendants to understand how Social Mining works.
